We are PEiPL (Philosophical Engagement in Public Life), a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering philosophical thinking in our communities. Our mission is to inspire critical and creative thinking, helping individuals, particularly children, become lifelong learners and active participants in society.
Who we are
PEiPL is a dynamic nonprofit organization founded to bring the power of philosophical thinking into everyday life. Our journey began in 2017 and it has since grown into a vibrant community of philosophers, educators, and curious individuals committed to making philosophy accessible and engaging for all. Through a variety of programs, we help people of all ages develop the skills to think critically, communicate effectively, and contribute meaningfully to society.
Our mission
At PEiPL, we believe that philosophy is not just for the classroom—it is a vital tool for navigating the complexities of life. Our mission is to equip the next generation with the thinking, communication, and social skills necessary to become active, lifelong learners. By promoting philosophical engagement, we aim to cultivate a world where thoughtful reflection and dialogue are at the heart of decision-making in both personal and public spheres.

Eurekamp Oz!
Professional Development for Teachers
PEiPL is excited to partner with Constable Care Foundation and Curtin University’s Centre for Applied Ethics on Imagineers, a series of immersive school holiday programs for children aged 5–13 that blend fun, activity-driven learning with creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. Based on the Eurekamp Oz! philosophy programs, Imagineers invites kids to think deeply and engage thoughtfully with the world. If you’re looking for a playful, philosophical, and inspiring school holiday program, this is the program for you! The second round of Imagineers will be held in the 2026 July School Holidays, at Curtin University. Three different 4-day programs for three different age groups will be offered each week. Scholarships are available for families and carers who cannot otherwise afford to come to Imagineers
There are many more events and programs under development, and as each comes to life, it helps spread the reach of philosophy a little further. If you want to help with existing projects, or have new ideas to share, then get in touch with PEiPL today!
